Chloé Goualc’h

Chloé Goualc’h is an art historian and archivist specialised in photography. A graduate from the University of Paris  and Ecole du Louvre in art history, she has been working for about ten years in French cultural institutions.

After graduation, she worked for seven years at the Kandinsky Library in Centre Pompidou, where she was in charge of the photographic archival collections. She had the particular honour to co-curate the exhibition Shunk-Kender : Art Through the Eye of the Camera, 1957-1983 in 2019 and co-developed its related catalogue with Xavier Barral Editions.

Since 2020 she has been in charge of the Migrations archives at the Archives nationales, the French national archives. She is very interested in arts and sociology, and her research focuses on the place of women in art and photography between the 19th and 21th century.
