Natasha Kathleen Ružić

Dr Natasha Ružić (Levak) began her career as a teacher and became interested in best practice and educational leadership. She completed a Master of Education in Management in which she researched authentic leadership models in educational institutions. During this time, she began working in a managerial role within the school sector. Her interests led her to complete a Master’s in Applied Linguistics specialising in computer-assisted learning. While coordinating research grant funded projects at university and consulting educational organisations, she completed a Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) in Applied Linguistics specialising in e-learning.
Natasha is currently employed by the Institute for Migration and Ethnic studies in Zagreb as a Senior Administrative Advisor with the key role of research (90%) and she teaches « Computer mediated communication and virtual teams development » at the Faculty of Croatian Studies, University of Zagreb. Her research interests focus on migration, return migration, educational outcomes for migrants, diaspora engagement, computer assisted language learning and virtual teams development. She is the owner of Adscensio College (Učilište Adscensio) and available as a consultant through Ružić Consulting. Natasha is the President of the non-profit organisation Domovinska i iseljenička zajednica (DIZ), being lead for the project ‘Zajedništvo i ljubav’ (http://zajednstvoiljubav.com.hr/), funded by the EU Social Fund, which employs and educates women (who have limited education and difficulties finding employment) to assist and improve the quality of life of pensioners as uses of the program.
