Eliza Leonida Zamfirescu (b. Galați, Romania, 1887 – d. 1973, Bucharest, Romania) was the first woman engineer in Romania and one of the first three in the world. She studied in Berlin, Germany because she was not allowed to in Romania. Then she returned to Romania and was active in geology.
