Margaret Skinnider (b. Coatbridge, Scotland, 1892 – d. 1971, Glengeary, Ireland) was a revolutionary in Ireland. She fought in the 1916 Easter Rising in Dublin as a sniper. She was born in Scotland but moved to Ireland, becoming active in the Irish War of Independence and in the Irish Civil War. She worked as a teacher later in life at Mount Carmel Secondary School in Dublin. This school named a building, Áras Skinnider, after her in 2017.
