Andreaa (36 years old) left Romania to Albania in 2014
Andreea and her Albanian husband have three children (14, 8 and 1.5 years old in 2023). Before she moved to Albania, Andreea lived in Italy with her mother, and there she met her husband. In 2014, she moved to Albania with her husband and their 4 year-old daughter.
She declares that she is « satisfied to be in Albania, because I have my own family, I have an excellent husband and we’re doing well”.
During her interview she said: “In the beginning, it was not easy. The Albanian language is difficult as well as the old mentality according to which a woman must stay at home and raise children or she must always listen to her husband…But despite this mentality, my husband’s mentality changes, because he has lived for many years abroad.”
She really misses Romanian costumes, holidays, especially Christmas with her relatives, as well as the snow.
