Hospital named after Louisa Jordan

    Louisa Jordan (b. Glasgow, Scotland, 1878 – d. 1915, Kragujevac, Serbia) was a Scottish nurse who operated in Elsi Inglis’s Scottish Women’s Hospitals and who worked in Greece and Serbia during the First World War. She died working during the Serbia typhus epidemic and is remembered annually in Serbia for her achievements.
