This fonds contains a letter from Marietta Alboni Pepoli to an unknown woman, dated 19 July (unknown year). Marietta Alboni (1826–1894) was born in Italy and died in France. She married her first husband, Count Carlo Pepoli in 1853, but she continued to perform on stage until 1872. She is considered one of the greatest contraltos in the history of opera.
