Strossmayer Josip Juraj fonds

The fonds, among other documents, contains correspondence between a noblewoman Albertina Androwski and her uncle, the bishop of Zagreb, Josip Juraj Strossmayer. She was married to an Austro-Hungarian high-ranked officer who was regularly transferred to different posts, and she and their children followed him. The letters reveal the everyday life of a noblewoman, often changing residence and adjustments to the new cities, as well as her social life.
