This file contains a visiting card of Marietta Alboni, Countess Pepoli, thanking an unknown admirer for a gift of flowers. Marietta Alboni (1826–1894) was born in Italy and died in France. She married her first husband, Count Carlo Pepoli, in 1853, but she continued to perform on stage until 1872. She is considered one of the greatest contraltos in the history of opera.
