A Research Assistant at the „Nicolae Iorga” History Institute, in Bucharest, since 2016, Camelia Zavarache graduated from the Faculty of History, University of Bucharest with a paper on the Womenʼs Emancipation Movement in Interwar Romania. She holds a Doctoral degree in History from the « Nicolae Iorga » History Institute, with a dissertation on « Moral, health and marriage education of the young generations in Romania (1918-1939) ». Her main areas of interest include family history, gender studies, childhood studies, education and juvenile culture.
