Tatiana Sitchinava

WG3 Leader

Tatiana Sitchinava is a PhD student at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. She holds an MA degree with honours in Human Geography. For the last three years, she has been researching migration processes in Georgia, including migrants’ integration. Currently, she is working at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. Tatiana Sitchinava has won PhD research grant funding from the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation (2021), and has received Tbilisi City Hall and Georgian State scholarships. She has experience in data collection, research, and information analysis from different sources. As a researcher, she focuses on immigration, labour migration, migration policy and diaspora issues.

Her current research includes “Georgian Diasporas in the Baltic States: Transformation of Migration Parameters in Space and Time” and « Peculiarities of integration and resettlement of labour migrants in Georgia ».
