Ivana Kobilca (b. Ljubljana, Austrian Empire, 1861 – d. 1926, Ljubljana, Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes) was as Slovene realist painter. She studied and worked in Vienna, Munich, Paris, Sarajevo, Berlin, and Ljubljana. A renowned realist painter, she mostly painted portraits, urban places, and floral still life. Between 1993 and 2007, she was portrayed on the 5000 Slovenian tolar banknote.
