Clara Haskil (b. 1895, Bucharest, Romania – d. 1960, Brussels, Belgium) was a pianist. She migrated to Vienna and Paris for education and worked in Switzerland, but she had an international piano career. One of her great admirers, Charlie Chaplin, said: « I have known three geniuses in my life: Einstein, Churchill and Clara Haskil”.
