Sculpture of a refugee woman with child at the main entrance of the Waldfriedhof, Troisdorf cemetery. The monument represents fleeing men, women and children. The memorials for expellees in Germany were created after 1945 and are particularly reminiscent of forced migration of the Germans from the East in WWII and immediately afterwards, some died and others abandoned their home.
