Street to Princess Ksenija (Podgorica, Montenegro)

Princess Ksenija Petrović-Njegoš of Montenegro (b. Cetinje, Montenegro, 1881 – d. 1960, Paris, France) had to leave Montenegro with her family and the Government after the Montenegrin capitulation in 1916, when the Austro-Hungarian army entered Cetinje, the country’s capital. She never returned to Montenegro, and died in exile in France in 1960, but until her death she helped and cared for her homeland.
