Eliza Leonida Zamfirescu (b. Galați, Romania, 1887 – d. 1973, Bucharest, Romania) was the first woman engineer in Romania and one of the first three in the world. She studied in Berlin, Germany because she was not allowed to study in Romania. She ran a hospital during World War I and worked for the Geological Institute of Romania. She was the first woman to be a member of the General Association of Romanian Engineers.
