Marie Under (b. Tallinn, Estonia, 1883 – d. 1980 Stockholm, Sweden) was a poet, she lived in Estonia until the Soviet occupation of Estonia in 1944 when she escaped in exile to Sweden. After a year in a refugee camp, she moved to Mälarhöjden in Stockholm, Sweden, and lived there until her death at age 96.
