Paulina Dembska (b. Niedźwiedź, Poland, 1993 – d. 2022, Malta) was a 29-year-old Polish woman that had been living in Malta for a number of years who was brutally raped and murdered. The memorial mural is the collaborative work of local female artists together with the Sliema local council. The mural honors the memory of Paulina Dembska and is a colourful and powerful symbol against harassment, injustice, and violence against women.
