Path named after Anna Tumarkin

    Anna Tumarkin (b. Dubrowno, Russia, 1875 – d. 1951, Muri bei Bern, Switzerland) was the first woman in Europe to be qualified as a university lecturer. She was also the first female professor in Europe who had the right to examine doctoral and postdoctoral students. She was engaged in the movement for the women’s right to vote.
