Marie Rosetti (née Grant, UK, 1819 – d. 1893, Bucharest), journalist, philanthropist and socialite. She became the representation of revolutionary Romania in the 1848 iconography. Marie (in Romanian Maria) founded the first journal on child rearing entitled Mama si copilul (Mother and child) (1865-1866).
