Central Committee of the League of Communists of Macedonia Skopje

The League of Communists of Macedonia handled and oversaw every activity in the Republic, and state bodies implemented its decisions at lower levels. The League of Communists of Macedonia was the sole ruling party in the Socialist Republic of Macedonia, making this an important archival collection for the study of emigration and immigration policy and implementation. A finding aid is not available for this archival fond, but it undoubtedly contains data on women’s migration, given the importance of the issue of external migration during the time of the Socialist Republic.
