Dorothy Burr Thompson Papers

    The collection contains correspondence from after WWII until the early 1990s, work notes, honors, biographical notes, three boxes of catalogue cards of terracottas, and embroideries of American archaeologist Dorothy Burr Thompson (1900-2001). After finishing her studies in the USA, Dorothy Burr Thompson moved to Greece where she worked for several years in the field of archaeology (1923-25, 1932-34). After her marriage with her Canadian collegue Homer A. Thompson (1935), she moved to Canada.
