Estate of Anna Tumarkin

    This fonds contains the personal papers by and about Anna Tumarkin, a Russian-born, naturalized Swiss academic and the first woman to become a professor of philosophy at the University of Bern. She was also the first woman in Europe to sit as a member of a University Senate.
