Hannah Szenes (b. Budapest, Hungary 17 July 1921 – d. 7 November 1944, Budapest, Hungary) was a martyred victim of the Holocaust. She wrote her diary in Hungary in the 1930s, before emigrating to Palestine. She then wrote several letters to her mother. The collection contains other personal items related to her migration experience.
