Hellen Marlene Felter Archive 1985-2002

    This fonds concerns Hellen Felter who was born in 1944 in Paramaribo, worked as a teacher in Suriname, attended college in Amsterdam in 1985, and worked in West Africa. A board member of many women’s organizations, this fonds contains documents concerning her (board) membership of the National Support Center for Women and Work, the Institute of Women & Labor, of Arachne, E-Quality, the European Women’s Lobby, the Women’s Alliance, TIYE International and of the Network of Black and Migrant Women with higher education, as well as documents concerning the Black Women and Europe Network in which she represented the Netherlands, documents concerning the International Contacts working group of the Broad Platform of Women for Economic Self-Employment, after 1998 known as the Women’s Alliance.
