Hungarian Royal Ministry of Agriculture, branch for the agrarian policy of the Southern regions

The collection contains Hungarian reports on the condition of the land, possibilities of using agricultural land; decisions and reports of the Hungarian Royal Commission for the settlement of Hungarians from abroad, cases related to the establishment of colonies; data on volunteer settlements, abandoned properties; cases related to the settlement of Hungarians in the « Southern regions »; cases related to the relocation of multi-member families from Hungary, relocation of families from one place to another; name lists of colonists and their data (e.g. number of settled families, catastral numbers of divided land, data on the number of births and the number of deaths in the colonies). As such, many migrant women are documented in this file.
