Ingrid Hansen Fonds

This fonds concerns Ingrid Hansen (1884–1960) who lived with the Popp family in Sauðárkrókur, Iceland, in 1905–1910 and 1910–1912. The Ingrid Hansen fonds contains 99 photographs (contained in an album), 12 written postcards, 32 blank postcards, a Danish-Icelandic glossary and photocopies of various documents and photographs, including Ingrid’s diary for 1905–1907 and 1910 and an essay on Danes in Iceland. The collection includes photographs of Ingrid on board the ship on which she travelled from Denmark to Iceland.
