Interview with Mei Lan Hsiao about her migration story from Taiwan to Belgium

This collection is based on the oral history of Mei Lan Hsiao, which is documented through interviews. Mei Lan grew up with her six-year-old younger brother in Taiwan. She was the child of Chinese migrants who fled their homeland in 1949. Mei Lan got a job at the fashion house Christian Dior and met a Belgian man at a conference. She later migrated to Belgium in 1991 to settle near Antwerp. Her transnational bonds are expressed through her practice of Chinese tea ceremonies.
