The payment concerns hierarchical appeals lodged with the Minister by foreigners whose applications for work permits were rejected by the prefectures, for the year 1995. They are classified by registration number. This payment was made after a sampling operation carried out for the years 1993 to 2002. Only the years ending with « 0 » and « 5 » have been kept. The files are not gender-disaggregated, but some contain information on women migrants.
