    Petition of Catrine [sic] Church, [County Cavan], to Richard Wellesley, 1st marquis Wellesley, Lord Lieutenant, Dublin Castle, requesting free passage to travel to New South Wales, Australia, where her husband, John Church, is stationed with a company of the 3rd (East Kent) regiment of foot. Encloses 2 documents as proof of her marriage: a certificate from Reverend Oliver Donaldson, Church of Ireland clergyman, 27 January 1820; and a certificate signed by the Reverend F Fitzpatrick, curate of parish of Shercock, County Cavan, and by William Argue and David Gray, church wardens, also confirming the marriage, 5 July 1823. 3 items; 4pp
