    Petition of Rachael McAnally, Drogheda, [County Louth], to [Richard Wellesley], Lord Lieutenant, seeking free passage to emigrate to New South Wales, [Australia]. Claims that her husband Michael Francis McAnally served with the 95th Regiment of Foot in the peninsular wars until he was wounded in 1813; that in 1818, he joined the police but was sentenced to transportation in 1825 when he fired his musket in self-defence against a group of attackers; and that she wishes to travel aboard the next available transport ship with her 3 children to join him.
