Royal Administration of Savska banovina sends to Police Administration of Zagreb a warrant for Jelena Ćetković

    This fonds documents the history of Jelena Ćetković. The Royal Administration of the Savska banovina, with the center in Belgrade sent a warrant for Jelena Ćetković, a Montenegrin who lived in Belgrade and who was engaged in illegal activist work with the Communist Party of Yugoslavia. The warrant was sent to Police Office in Zagreb, and to all other local police admministrations. The warrant is dated from 25 May 1936. Jelena Ćetković was caught by the occupation police in 1942 in Belgrade, and was tortured then eventually shot in the Banjica concentration camp in 1943. She was proclaimed a National War heroine in 1952.
