The Flamboyant Archives 1982-1995

    The Flamboyant Foundation was founded in 1986 and disbanded in 1990. It aimed to support the emancipation of Black and migrant women in the Netherlands. In this collection, there are documents received from 1983-1990; papers concerning the conference ‘Racism, Sexism and Classism’ 1986, 1988; course material 1989; records of the Caribbean women’s group Ashanti 1982-1983; report on 1993-1995 and archives 1987-1990 of the Network Black and Migrant Women with higher education and specific expertise.
