Description: Petition dated 13 June 1825 from Bridget Donovan, born O’Connor, of 8 Thomas Street, Dublin, to Richard Wellesley, 1st Marquis Wellesley, Lord Lieutenant, Dublin Castle. She requests government assistance to emigrate to America for her safety and that of her family, claiming that evidence she gave as a crown informer in Longford Co. led to the conviction and execution of 6 individuals.
