    Description: This collection gathers the personal papers of Hannah Arendt and is composed of 25,000 items and 82,597 images. Hannah Arendt (born Johanna Arendt; 14 October 1906 – 4 December 1975) was a German-born American historian and philosopher. She was one of the most influential political theorists of the 20th century. The archive is located in the University library (Level 3, Room B313) and is available to all Arendt researchers and readers by appointment.
