Beatrice Zucca Micheletto (Ph. D) is a Research Fellow at CAMPOP, University of Cambridge and GRHis, University of Rouen-Normandy. In 2017-2019, she was awarded a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Action for the FemEcoMig project. Her main research field focuses on the early modern and modern Piedmont-Savoy State. Her research focuses on women and gender history, family history, labour history, and welfare history. She taught at the University of Paris-Est Marne-la-Vallée and at the University of Franche-Comté (France). She co-convened the exhibition Femmes au travail en Seine Maritime (1500-1914) (Rouen, 2015) and she has been member of the project « Economic privileges in Europe, 15-19 centuries: a quantitative and comparative study ».

She is the author of Travail et propriété des femmes en temps de crise (Turin, XVIIIe siècle) (2014) and several articles in English, French and Italian. She co-edited Gender, law and economic well-being in Europe from the fifteenth to the nineteenth century. North vs South ? (2018) and « Tout ce qu’elle saura et pourra faire », Femmes, droits, travail en Normandie du Moyen Âge à la Grande Guerre (2015). Among her recent works, « The domestic space as a space of paid and unpaid work» (2020); «Working in and for the charity institutions: patterns of employment and actors in the early modern Savoy-Piedmont state (17th-19th centuries)» (2020); « A large “umbrella”. Multiple patterns of apprenticeship in eighteenth-century Turin » (2019).

She is currently working on labour migration and citizenship.
