A half-hour presentation entitled « Studying and Popularization of Memory about Women Migration: COST Action Women on the Move » was read by Igor Lyman during the first panel of the 9th International Multidisciplinary Symposium of Memory Studies (SIMEM), which was held on 11-12 November 2021 in Puebla (Mexico). This year’s SIMEM theme is « Pensar el pasado para imaginar el futuro » (« Think the Past to Imagine the Future »).
Igor talked about the conception, objectives, tasks and main activities of WEMov, focusing on aspects related to the memory about female migration.
