Lusine Sargsyan is a researcher in the “Matenadaran” Research Institute of Ancient Manuscripts named after Mesrop Mashtots. She was granted international fellowship for projects such as Sirarpie Der-Nersessian Foundation for the Students and Scholars of the Republic of Armenia for the History of Art, Paris (in 2012 and in 2015), Black Sea Link (in 2013-2014) and Pontica Magna Fellowship Programs (in 2017) at New Europe College Institute for Advanced Study in Bucharest. She was a Visiting Scholar at Hill Museum and Manuscript Library in Collegeville, Minnesota in 2017. Her research interests include Medieval Art, Codicology, Old Printed books, the Art and History of Armenian Diaspora in South-Eastern Europe, and their comparative study in the new methods of Digital Humanity. She is the author of academic papers basically related to the study of the Armenian manuscripts, Armenian Early printed books, Armenian literary heritage from 19th century and contemporary Diaspora art. Lusine Sargsyan has participated in many international conferences and workshops in Armenia, in Europe and in the USA.
