A street name after Henrietta Szold (Hod Hasharon, Israel) 

    Henrietta Szold (b. 1860, Baltimore, Maryland  – d. 1945, Jerusalem, Israel) was an educator, essayist, editor, and social communal worker. She was famous as the founder of Hadassah, the women’s Zionist organization of the United States. Szold’s work helped create the medical, educational, and social service infrastructure that helped turn the dream of a Jewish state into a workable reality. During the 1930s, she spearheaded Youth Aliyah, helping Jewish children leave Nazi Germany for Palestine.
