Commemorative plaque for Shoshana Damari (Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel)

    Shoshana Damari (b. Damar, Yemen, 1923- d. 2006, Tel Aviv, Israel) was a Yemeni-Israeli singer known as the « Queen of Hebrew Music. She was taken to Israel at the age of two. She is one of the best-known singers in Israel, called « the Queen of Hebrew song. » She was the winner of the Israel Prize in the field of Hebrew song in 1988.
