Commemorative plaque of Lea (or Leah) Goldberg (Aviv-Yafo, Israel)

    Leah Goldberg or Lea Goldberg (b. Königsberg, Germany (now Kliningrad, Russia)1911 – d. 1970, Jerusalem, Israel) was a prolific Hebrew-language poet, author, playwright, literary translator, and comparative literary researcher. She immigrated to Israel in 1935. She wrote fiction for adults, poems, and children’s books, making her one of the most important writers in Israel. The commemorative plaque is located outside the house in which she lived in Tel Aviv.
