Plaque of Constance Marcievick (Dublin, Ireland)

    Constance Georgine Markievicz (b. London, UK, 1868 – d.1927, Dublin, Ireland) was an Irish politician, revolutionary, nationalist, suffragist, socialist, and the first woman elected to the Westminster Parliament. She was elected Minister for Labour in the First Dáil, becoming the first female cabinet minister in Europe.
