Street dedicated to Clara von Rappard (Bern, Switzerland)

    Clara von Rappard (b. Wabern, Switzerland, 1857 – d. 1912, Bern, Switzerland) was a painter and leading representative of Swiss Symbolism. She studied in Venice and Rome, as well as Hannoiver. Clara von Rappard had her own studio in Munich and participated in numerous European exhibitions and in addition to open-air landscapes, she also created portraits and illustrations (mainly graphics, sketches and murals).
