Street dedicated to Ida Hoff (Bern, Switzerland)

    Ida Hoff (b. Moscow, Russia, 1880 – d. 1952, Bern, Switzerland) was the first school doctor in Bern and was committed to women’s right to vote. Born in Moscow into a Jewish family, she settled with her mother in Switzerland where she pursued medical studies at the University of Bern. She was also the partner of Anna Tumarkin.
