Maria Cebotari (née Ciubotaru, 1910, Chișinău, Moldavia – d. 1949, Berlin, Germany), Bessarabian-born, Romanian, Austrian soparano and actress. She is ‘reclaimed’ by both Romania and Republic of Moldova while she herself identified as Romanian.
