Street named after Dora Maar (Clamart, France)

    Henriette Theodora Markovitch (b. Paris, France, 1907 – d.1997, Paris France), known as Dora Maar, was a French photographer, painter, and poet. Having grown up in Buenos Aires, she studied and lived in Paris, then left for Barcelona and then London, where she photographed the effects of the economic depression following the Wall Street Crash of 1929 in the United States. She lived the rest of her life in Paris.
