Street named after Solomiya Krushelnytska (Vinnyts’ka oblast, Ukraine)

    Solomiya Krushelnytska (b. Buchats’kyi district, Ukraine, 1872 – d. 1952, Lviv, Ukraine) was born to the family of a Greek Catholic priest in the village Biliavyntsi and grew up in the village Bila. Krushelnytska finished Lviv Conservatory with honors in 1893 and improved her vocal skills in Milan. From 1898 to 1902, she was a prima donna of the Warsaw Opera. Later, she triumphantly toured in the best opera theaters of the world: Paris, London, Rome, Milan, Florence, Berlin, Vienna, Madrid, Lisbon, Buenos Aires, St. Petersburg, Cairo, etc.
