Temporary Installation for Karen Blixen (Copenhagen, Denmark)

Karen Blixen (b. Zealand, Denmark 1885 – d. 1962, Zealand, Denmark) was a writer. Blixen grew up on Rungstedlund, but lived in Kenya for over 15 years where she ran a coffee farm. In the 1930s, she moved back to Denmark, during which time she made her literary mark with new major works such as Babette’s Feast and Winter’s Tale. The Karen Blixen Museum is the place she called home, when she was not abroad.
