Tomb effigy of Elizabeth Boott-Duveneck (1846-1888) (Firenze, Italy)

    Elizabeth Boott-Duveneck (b. Boston, USA, 1846 – d. 1888, Florence, Italy) was an American artist of still lifes, landscapes, and portraits and was the wife of Frank Duveneck, who made the tomb effigy. She was an expatriate who lived in Florence most of her life with her father, an American composer. Another version of the tomb effigy is at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
